The Costa Rica Convention Bureau was founded in July 1998 by a group of Costa Rican businessmen representing the tourism industry, and whose vision it was to develop the MICE market in order to increase the number of visitors to our country. New alternatives, such as the establishment of five-star international hotel chains and elegant boutique hotels have spearheaded the initiative to attract this market segment. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Costa Rica as a highly attractive incentive and meetings destination. We are made ​​up of 72 members (hotels, destination management companies, PCO's, attractions and suppliers), they are top-of-the-line businesses with vast experience and expertise in the management, planning and execution of incentive programs.

We have worked closely with the Costa Rica Tourist Board to create and implement advertising and promotional media such as: The Official Guide of Costa Rica Meetings and Incentive Travel, maps, brochures and photos among others. All the information is neatly packaged under logical headings and topics, making it easy to find what you are looking for.
