International Festival of the Arts
Since 1989, the biennial International Festival of the Arts has been held in Costa Rica, an artistic-cultural festival that takes to the streets, avenues, theaters and open stages of the Costa Rican capital for 10 days in March.

Jorge Jiménez Deredia: His art has traveled the world through the most renowned museums and art galleries. One of his recent works includes a statue on the exterior facade of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, a structure designed by the Renaissance genius Michelangelo Buonarroti.
